bad at drawing is a private draw-and-guess game at badatdrawing.com. This page says what the game keeps, and how ads on the site work.
Names, drawings, and guesses
There is no account and no password. The name you type is held in memory on the game server for that room, along with drawings, guesses, scores, and any word list the host types. Other people in the room can see your name, your drawing, and your guesses. A custom word list stays in that room: other players see how many words it has, and the words are not added to the built-in list.
Leaving the room, or a restart of the game server, clears that room. Nothing from a game is written into a database.
This browser keeps a reconnect token and your name in session storage so a refresh can put you back in the same room. That entry is removed when you leave. It lasts only for the current browser session.
Ads and cookies
Pages on this site use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s advertising cookies let Google and its partners show ads based on those visits, measure the ads, and avoid repeating an ad you have already seen.
You can turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies for personalized ads at optout.aboutads.info. Google describes its advertising cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
The game itself does not sell your name, drawings, or guesses.
Server logs
The machine that hosts the site keeps ordinary connection logs: an IP address, the time, and the page requested. Those logs are used to run the site.
Children
bad at drawing is a game for people playing with friends. It is not directed at children under 13.
